Battlestar Galactica final episodes
January 13th 2009 00:25
It's only mere days away until those final Battlestar Galactica episodes air. This is a bittersweet moment, we'll get all those answers, but it will be the end of a captivating series. I've thought the final cylon was everyone from Ellen, to Felix, to Dualla (well there is the 'Dual' thing). I'm hoping it isn't Boxey, Zac or some other character that has barely appeared. Rumor has it the final five in the opera house aren't actually Tigh, Ander, Tory etc, but 5 separate beings completely... is it all a ruse?
Whatever the case I can't wait to see the final episodes, once everything is answered RDM (creator) says we'll all want to re-watch the entire series from the very beginning.. I'm lookngi forward to doing that... how about you guys?

I fully believed Roslin was the last cylon, but too many hints now. Battlestar is better than that, its got to be a red herring.
I THINK that its all got to do with cyclical time - we create them so they can create us... Like, they all go back to Kobol eventually, because they work out they are the 13th tribe or something...Cos Kobol is in their scripture "where Gods and humans lived together' and they got Athena and Apollo....Like they go back there to live and put the arrow back in the tomb so they can find it again....Cos "all of this has happened before and will happen again"
Its just fascinating isnt it?

it is fascinating! One idea regarding how Tigh and the others could be cylons if if they aren't the final 5 (well 4), but are rather the reincarnated opera house 5, who are a completely different entity altogether.
I would love it if Roslin was a cylon.. but that's because I don't want her to die.

you know i hadnt even considered Dualla or Felix
i thought Ellen Tigh was cylon when she was first introduced but i dont think thats plausible now
sometimes i wonder if its going to be Admiral Adama (dont ask me how), or Gaius Baltar, or Starbuck . . . basically i have absolutely no idea
i really want them to explain why Gaius has the visions of Six, thats what i NEED to know!

it's killing me too JCL ;o)
Morgan I know what you mean about Ellen, her mysteriously surviving and just showing up, I did wonder if it was her Six met with when on Caprica.. remember that scene in the mini series... something like "I was wondering when you'd show up" or something similar.. WHO WAS IT??!
Jason it's on this Friday in the states, so if you get it via dubious means it will no doubt be available somewhere from late Saturday Oz time. I assume the DVD's will get a release after the episodes air. There's rumor of a cool Bluray special edition!

Theres a theory going around that the last cylon was made with Adamas DNA. I found it weird how many connections he has to the cylons, being there at the first experiments, and just at the end of the first war. It could be valid.
Now Tory, Anders, Cheif and Tight reincarnated Gods...Im down with that!
Ive thought Roslin was a cylon for ages, and the cancer was actually her programming. But there are so many clues now, I think they are frakking with us!
