Atia of ROME joins Caprica

ROME isn't scifi, but I still thought it was a great show (great enough to have bought both seasons on DVD). Atia of the Julii was played by British actress Polly Walker and she did upper-class Roman bitch really well. She also did upper-class Texan bitch quite well in Cane. Now it seems she's set to play High Priestess in Caprica.


Walker will play the role of Sister Clarice Willow, she's a "gracious, eloquent and duplicitous high priestess and headmistress of the Athena Academy, a private religious school."says The Hollywood Reporter. What an ideal role for Walker, I can really see this and have to say the casting for Caprica is getting better all the time. Awesome!

Now that is interesting! I adored Rome, got it all on dvd too...Right next to Battlestar! Now Im really inspired to get into Caprica...
